Drybuild began over eight years ago, with Drybuild Drying Solutions which specialised in the drying of timber framework in buildings prior to the pre-line building inspection.
This led to an awareness of the continued problem of moisture in both new and existing homes and and with the explosion of the "leaky building syndrome" in New Zealand, drybuild identified the need for more detailed testing of moisture damage to specific areas.
Thus, Drybuild Infrared Solutions was formed, to provide in depth non-invasive moisture testing and reports on buildings using high tech infrared thermal imaging cameras. Drybuild Infrared pioneered this leading edge technology in New Zealand and became the first building inspection company to adopt purpose built infrared thermal imaging for use in building inspections.
